Will has lived in Congers since he was 5 years old. He is one of five children and attended St. Paul’s grammar school in Valley Cottage, Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia and Rockland Community College in Suffern. He and his wife, Donna, started dating when they were 20. They have been married for 38 years and together, raised three daughters who are all First Responders. The couple also has 8-year-old twin granddaughters.

Will entered the NYPD at age 21 and had a long and distinguished career in law enforcement working to keep us safe. He was first assigned to the 46th Precinct in the Bronx, then transferred to the Joint Terrorism Task Force, and later retired from the Manhattan South Homicide Squad/Division. He retired as a Detective 3rd Grade.

Will owned and operated Kennelly’s Grille House for 25 years. His greatest joy as a business owner/operator in our community was meeting and getting to know so many people. He dug his roots down deep by living and serving in our community and was thrilled to have participated and spearheaded numerous events and fundraisers over the years. His dedication and philanthropic efforts were acknowledged when he was honored as Committee Person of the Year in October 2019 by the Clarkstown Republican Committee.

Will is a member of the VMA Board, Congers; Sergeant of Arms for the Nam Knights; and a proud member of the Rockland County Shields.

Will’s lifelong experiences in law enforcement, owning and operating a small family business, and over community involvement for the past 45-plus years gives him a solid and unique perspective on what our county issues are, what we are facing currently and looking forward, and problem-solving insight as to how to bring fiscal responsibility to our Legislature.
