Beth J. Davidson
District 10 Legislator
Beth Davidson is both humbled and honored to represent District 10, which includes the Village of Nyack, Central Nyack, Bardonia, and portions of Valley Cottage, West Nyack, and New City. Beth currently serves as Chair of the Legislature’s Environmental Committee, as well as of the County's Water Task Force, and as Vice Chair of the Economic Development & Housing Committee. She also serves on both the Multi-Services Committee and the Special Committee on Transit.
Before her election to the County Legislature, Beth served two terms on the Nyack School Board, serving as both Secretary and Vice President. She has also served on numerous additional local boards, including Leadership Rockland, Soar Mentorship, Inc., and the Children’s Shakespeare Theatre.
A volunteer with the YMCA, Nyack Center, Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, the Rockland County Pride Center, and the Center for Safety and Change, Davidson received the 2019 YMCA Community Service Award and was named a 2023 Woman of Distinction by former Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski.
Beth works as a writer and consultant to nonprofits and political campaigns. She lives in Nyack with her husband and two children, both of whom attend Nyack Public Schools.

Rockland County Legislature Approves Firearm Warning Labels
As gun violence remains the number-one killer of children in the United States and continues to shatter lives here in Rockland County, the County Legislature voted unanimously tonight to require warning labels to be posted wherever firearms are sold in the county.
