Aney has shown an unwavering commitment to serving the community, having been active since she moved to Rockland almost 24 years ago.  Her ambition to serve Rockland County is an extension of her commitment to making our community a better place to live, work and raise our families.  She has been a nurse for more than 30 years, and since moving to Rockland County in 1987, she has worked as a Registered Nurse at Nyack Hospital.  However, Aney is more than just a nurse: she is an activist, a community-minded citizen, and even a writer.  Aney's list of accomplishments is inundated with activities related to her leadership and organizational skills.  She is an extremely active member of numerous professional and cultural associations, where she has served in various positions on both the local and national levels.
