Legislator Paul Invites Volunteers To Join Her Milestone 30th Roadside Cleanup
Meet At 9 A.M. On Saturday, Oct. 26 At Pascack Community Center In Nanuet
Rockland County Legislature Vice Chairwoman Dr. Aney Paul will lead her milestone 30th roadside cleanup Saturday in Nanuet.
Legislator Paul will join with volunteers to help rid litter from a local roadside as part of the 2024 Great American Cleanup. It will be her 30th such cleanup since she launched the effort a decade ago and will be held in conjunction with Keep Rockland Beautiful.
“I invite everyone to come join this worthwhile effort,” Legislator Paul said. “It is very satisfying to see the difference a group of community-loving people can make simply by ridding trash from our streets.”
In 2014, Legislator Paul adopted the two-mile stretch of County Route 35A that runs between New Clarkstown Road in Nanuet and Route 59 in Spring Valley. She has led a cleanup of the roadway twice a year – in spring and in fall – almost every year since.
Individuals, families and organizations interested in helping with the cleanup should meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Pascack Community Center, 87 New Clarkstown Road, in Nanuet.
